Im 19 and i have ocd and i just want to know of anyone else who has it, if they have been able to live with it. Without going on medication or seeing someone about it. Any effective ways of dealing with it?

OCD can be pretty painful and can lead to social problems. I don't have it, but am a holistic health student. I would suggest that you do something about it. Alternative treatment options are plenty, including homeopathy, reiki etc.

Why suffer when options are available?

I am 14 and I know I have it. I havent told anyone because I am too embarassed of it. Although throughout the years the compulsion to do things has died down a little and now Ive only got a light form of it.

Did a doctor say you have OCD or is this your opinion? If you really have OCD I doubt if you can treat it without medication, unless it's really mild.
