AGAIN. bhoys comes from the southern irish pronunciation of boys,when going to a game they would say "lets go and see the BHOYS play" and it just stuck from there.

the answer is as simple as a tim,,the name originates from celtic(keltic)origin where 14th centuary christians(catholic)monks after a hard day tredding grapes to make manky mob bucky were rewarded with some company of the cHior boys and home brew so the term bring on the bHoys came into use and today you can still hear the excitment of the huddle where celtic park erupts as they all bend over and show their bums

Because the horizontal stripes on their jerseys makes them look fat, like a bhoy (those things floating out at sea).
