I agree. Stockphoto websites charge ... why? Because they buy the photo's from people, as well as having the website, employees, etc, so they have to recover their costs and also make a profit.
Your best bet? Take your own photo's. If this is not an option for you ... i.e. you either don't have the equipment or you take lousy pics (believe it or not, some people just can't learn to take good pics), then it will be worth your money to subscribe to one of the stock photo websites.

most of the websites charge for stockphoto, its not worth searching. Better hit outdoor with camera and snap as per your requirement. Thats what most of the photoshop users does.
