Technically yes. It is a growing "religion" in europe, and i believe a school has been set up in Romania. Interesting fact, in Britain more people claimed to be Jedi than jewish during the census.

Not really but there was several hundreds of people in England that they're saying the Jedi Code is they're religion...

George Lucas used parts of many religions in the series. Christianity, Mohammedanism, and Buddhism are prominent. Maybe it will become a belief. There is prescience in Sikhism. The Sikhs are a mixture of Hindu and Muslim beliefs.

It sound like something from movies..
Only the God of Israel , having a son Jesus Christ ...is the true religion ..to me..But they call religion ..their old beliefs in old gods,,,in this situation even Aphrodita , Zeus, Apolon, used to be a religion...You see religion doesn't mean ...in what do you believe ...to me religion means a discipline where everybody shows the god in who belives ...
Actually we the Christians have no religion...we have a God.Because He is the ''Truth , the Way and the Life''.so , He cannot be called religion , 'cos religion is also Budha , who is not God who made the great miracles , in the Old and New Testament... I think you want to ask if the people are found of SF movies like this ...as if it is a religion...No I think is something for kids ...like superman ...but I hope they will stop to make SF films with ugly characters...they are so ...ugly ...the film doesn't deserve our money...
