No way.
You really can't believe that Heroin users started with pot. That's not clear thinking. If people progressed from pot to heroin consistantly, there would a butt load of heroin addicts out there.
Pot has never been proven to be a gateway drug, and actually, that theory has been debunked many times. The most famous de-bunking was proven in the LaGuardia Report (google it).
Sugar!!!! More addictive than pot, heroin, coffee and tea.

no.....not at all...no logic involved here at all. There is some caffeine in tea and coffee, but it would be rare to see it lead anywhere. Look at the people who drink coffee...how many became alcoholics? The figures do not back it up. I do think the same non logic applies to cannabis and heroin....just another establishment scare tactic.

Oh come on! We all drink tea or coffee ( well most of us ) and that would therefore mean a massive, but massive addiction to alcohol if your theory is correct.

Perhaps the same could be said for dandelion & burdock, Seven Up or Root Beer?

Still, even though I did think about your question, it did make me laugh!

i hope not i drink at least 10 cups of tea a day/coffee.But i dont drink a lot of alcohol, i never have done. I think addiction is dependant on personality. it's more mentally with me, like drinking tea, and habits with food.I know it's not good but its my control. I have never tried drugs and dont intend to, but i suppose yuor right in a way. I'll stick to my tea though as you dont get a hang over!hahhaha

Well, there is always the other side to the story, mate.
I started drinking beer and other alcoholic drinks, then I began drinking tea. Nowadays I drink more tea, and drink much less alcohol. So much for the "gateway" theory!

Unless you're drinking Irish Coffees for breakfast, I don't believe tea and coffee drinking will lead to you becoming an alcho.

No, I don't go along with that. I drink coffee and tea but I can't stand alcohol. I don't drink beer or wine so the answer to that is false.

Alcoholics and drug addicts all have one thing in common, they have addictive personalities.Sooooooooooooo just as they can get hooked on alcohol or drugs, they could get hooked on tea, coffee, bubblegum, or anything that they can get hold of when they choose to change ..............

No, the only reason people go from pot to heroin is because smoking pot gets old, and so they wanna try something new... I honestly don't see a coorelation here... It's like comparing apples and oranges.

lol, good thinking.
As anything, we humans always had a theory of resolving problems by pointing fingers towards everything other than the problem at face value.
Anything can be abused, thus making it a habit or "drug". It all comes by choices we make. So in theory, you could say yes.
