Roses, chocolates, teddies, jewelleries, caps....sounds very common to me.
If my valentine gives me the things mentioned hereafter on valentines day, those will be the most wonderful things.
1. A phone call or sms at sharp 12.00am in the night.
2. A quality time with me on 14th feb. Even if it for 10 minutes.
3. Self made love poem or drawing for me showing how much she loves me.
Rest all is common and you don't need to be suggested for that.
