what is a soul mate? can we really find our soul mate? when they soul mate does that mean we are meant to be?

There are many different definitions of a soul mate - twin flame. Some same the two of you were forged together in the same fire of creation, entwined together. At the very least it most agree that it means that the two souls fit together perfectly, as they were created to do.
No, not all people believe in soul mates. Some believe that we all have multiple partners that we are capable of meshing with.
Personally, after meeting my husband, I believe that they can exist. So does he. The why is very hard to explain - it's as though we were missing someone that we had never met, yet had searched for our entire lives. It's not so much about being completed in each other but rather about finding rest in each other.
You can not go out and find your soul mate - such as with an ad space on Yahoo. Those that believe in soul mates believe that the one who created them will place them together. And sometimes you do not find each other in this life - but in the next. It's not something that you look for or obsess over - it can only happen when it is supposed to.

A soul mate is the partner who is perfect for you because you share the same interest. I think is difficult to find but not impossible.

yes, definitely... there IS such thing as soul mate... yup, it is just a matter of time before we find our soul mate... yup, soul mate means that that person and us are meant to be friends or even couple...

Yes; your 'other half'; you may find your soul mate, but the other person may not realize it/situation wasn't right to develop into full fruition; if you choose wisely, you may find that someone special.
Real friendship is a preparation of the above.

Probably, but not definitely. If your soulmate dies, should you be destined to live single forever or wait until the afterlife to reunite? Fortunately, men and women are designed to be compatible in general, so there will be many potential soulmates out there. No need to get bolloxed up by that term anyway; it's so misunderstood and misconstrued.
