How can i start a page number in a document that isnt from the first page. I insert a page number into the footer and it automatically starts on the first page which is not what i need.

I have tried using page breaks but cant get them to work, not sure whether im doin it right, but i insert a continuous or new page, page break and every time i insert my page number it starts on page 1.

Anyone know how to do it???

When you have put your page numbers on, go to format on the page number dialogue box. On the drop down list for 'start at' put it to zero.

if you then uncheck the box to start on the first page, the second page of your document will be numbered 1.
