I am sure in this world of 6 billion people (and counting), there all sorts of people who can and have done things we can't even begin to imagine. So I'm going to say yes, I definitely think there are some mothers who have been sexually attracted to their own sons. A more familiar occurence os the Oedipus Complex. The Oedipus complex is a psychoanalytic theory referring to a stage of psychosexual development where a child regards the parent of the same gender as a competitor, for the exclusive love of the parent of the opposite gender. The name is derived from the Greek myth of Oedipus, who unwittingly kills his father, Laius, and marries his mother, Jocasta. Made popular by Shakespeare in Hamlet.

I once was around a family like that. She would discuss her sexual activities around him (he was 16), stroke his shoulders and back and moan "oh, isn't he hot?"

Now about 20 years later, I know that anything that creeps me out that much, IS CREEPY. And unnatural. And her son is probably responding that way because he was raised in that atmosphere.

My advice? Run. Very quickly. Away.

That is gross and perverted and if they follow through with their feelings then that is incest and a total sin and not acceptable in society. If the son is under age then it is illegal to follow through with any actions and can lead to severe mental and emotional problems in the future.

Mothers and sons are not suppose to be sexually attracted to each other...if that is the case.

There are also those who have dirty minds and tend to see relationships based on their own personal twisted thought process.

Well, are you sure that they are not playing around? My aunt used to call her son "Cute" and "does he not look sexy?" Mostly as teasing his, seeing as he was so stuck up...
Try telling her that is sounds akward...

That's just wrong.
As a mother I could never even think about my child in such a way, it's unnatural!

My first wife and her son were attracted to each other sexually. She was 39 and he was 20 and they were caught having intercourse and that's why i divorced the crazy lady.
