Yes I would. There's nothing wrong with being Muslim. However, Barack Obama is not a Muslim, and there are no major Islamic presidential candidates here, so this is a moot question.

Yes, I would accept a Muslim as president. He/she would have a better understanding of how to deal with the Middle East situation, how to NOT incite terrorists, maybe even how to create a peace between the Middle East and the US. It would be much better than the leadership we have now.
Obama, as many others have stated, is not a Muslim.

Here is part of the black Muslim program.
8. We want the government of the United States to exempt our people from ALL taxation as long as we are deprived of equal justice under the laws of the land.
9. We want equal education--but separate schools up to 16 for boys and 18 for girls on the condition that the girls be sent to women's colleges and universities. We want all black children educated, taught and trained by their own teachers.

I wouldn't .... look at the problems we're having over in Iraq. Most American's HATE osama bin laden... I mean, I personaly never met a Muslim.. but I've seen them and studied some of their religion and beliefs... and I honestly would NEVER accept a Muslim as our next president. They have their own country and we have our own, our presidents should be American's!!! I mean, that'd be like having an American president where the muslim's live... I don't think they'd accept it and I don't believe that we should accept it either.

What united statesa. and something else of the international desires interior the subsequent president is a rational man or woman. that would not propose he/she must be an atheist, yet that categorical may help. sadly, that's not obtainable in united statesa. to be elected as an atheist.

I would not like it but our Government system is a free system, even an atheists can run for president, I can even run for president, That is how free our system is. But I am not worried about Barack Obama winning, no way will he win. God puts up who he wants & God puts down who he want.

Why not, Muslims are good people for the most part, they get a bum rap because of a few.
I think it could result in better relationships through the world.

Barrack was not a Muslim.
He is still not a Muslim.
Muslim people usually have a much humble approach to things.
Keith Elliot is a Muslim. And I like him very much. Because he makes sense.

That was a hoax. He was NOT a Muslim nor did he go to a Muslim school. Here is a pretty credible source backing this up (MSNBC/Newsweek):
