Hello Bryrog1
The size of the clubhead must not exceed 28.06 cubic inches (460 cubic centimeters), plus a tolerance of 0.61 cubic inches (10 cubic centimeters).
This is taken directly from the USGA website. I gather from this that it is now 460.6 cc max
Sometimes the USGA makes it difficult to figure things out.

According to the Royal and Ancient, the legal limit is 460cc. If it is 461, it's a new one on me; although I have heard of a 460, which I have got.

time-honored length - time-honored length club head golfing drivers in many cases have a length of roughly a hundred and fifty cubic centimeters. via fact the club head length is the smallest, it has the smallest candy spot. as a consequence, time-honored length club head golfing motive force demands greater precise hits. although, that's far less complicated to handle and that's appropriate perfect to stepped forward gamers. Midsize - Midsize club head falls between time-honored and outsized with approximately 195 cubic centimeters. for this reason, it delivers a medium length candy spot. outsized - outsized club head is the biggest club head with as much as 250 cubic centimeters in length. outsized club heads golfing motive force is greater forgiving. that's rather very resembling the outsized tennis racquet. The advance 'candy spot' produces maximum distance inspite of off-center contacts. beginner or amateur golfers are stated to apply outsized club head golfing motive force.

It is actually 470cc. Even though the limit is 460cc, there is a tolerance of 10cc's allowing clubs up to 470.....
