you are not allowed to use scientific evidence or logic. also you are not allowed to use vowels, every 17th word must contain the letter w. no one called andrew or patricia is allowed to answer this. if i do not get a satisfactory answer using the exact method i have stated then i will know that evolution is not real. and even if i get a good answer i will probably not believe it. 2 points all round.

don, have you notice that there are not too many scientific laws lately. even newton's theory of gravity, became einstein's theory of relativity and quantum gravity theory. newton said himself that he couldn't really expalin what gravity was only its effects. by the same criteria, evolutionary theory should be a law, but the definition has been tightened up now. i doubt if you'll see any more laws.
gadmack, if i decide to use godel's incompleteness theorum you may be on to a winner.
princess yum yum, i've no doubt that you have constructed a coherent and lucid argument, but i can't understand it, therefore, it must be wrong, as any thing i cannot grasp is wrong.

Pitman Shorthand uses lines, curves and other strokes of the pencil to record speech. The vowels are not needed (once a certain level of proficiency has been achieved), therefore it is possible to write a message without showing a single vowel. Hence the above message, when transcribed into English reads:

Can do this using Pitman Shorthand. Evolution just excuse to deny God's sovreign authority. Look! No vowels!

Whether you agree with what the message says is, of course, another matter entirely. However, I do believe I have abided by your "rules". Whatever, it has been a whole load of fun! Thanks.

As you say, there's no such thing as a scientific law anymore. Certainly not for the biological sciences. However, evolution is as real as gravity and can be safely regarded as a fact. Evolutionary theory is how this is explained and there are likely to be further changes in the future. After all Darwin's theory is no longer in use as it was originally created. It's 'evolved' (for want of a better word!) into a superior theory.

Of course, the real question isn't can anyone prove it's real. It's can anybody prove it isn't? If it's not real, then it should be very easy to disprove. So far nobody has even come close and there's a lot of people trying very hard to do so.

It's a large body of evidence. I can't really tell you one thing that proves evolution is true because you could just say "but what if..." and then I'd have to counter your argument with another piece of evidence. To go through the major pieces of evidence quickly: When we examine DNA of organisms, we can see foreign DNA from ancient retroviruses present in the genome of animals, passed down through generations. When we see (for example) a retrovirus present in all humans as well as all chimpanzees, we can assume that the retrovirus infected an organism that was an ancestor of all humans and all chimpanzees. Also, fossil evidence. Though people say we don't have many transitional fossils (i.e., fossils representing animals in an intermediary stage between two major groups, there is one extremely impressing fact about the fossil record. Evolutionary scientist J. B. S. Haldane said that if paleontologists were to discover "fossil rabbits in the Precambrian" (i.e., fossils of modern species dated to be from many millions or billions of years ago), it would instantly destroy his belief in the theory of evolution. This has never happened. If evolution does not occur, we would expect to see modern species interspersed with ancient species in the fossil record, but we only see modern species very recently in the fossil record, and beyond a certain point, no fossils of modern species are seen. And here's one more pretty interesting piece of evidence: chimpanzees and humans have a different number of chromosomes (humans have 23 individual chromosomes, other apes have 24). When this was discovered, it seemed like a big flaw in the theory of evolution. Species as similar as chimpanzees and humans couldn't possibly have such a huge difference as an entire missing chromosome. Then it was discovered that one of the human chromosomes is identical to two of the chromosomes of other apes, merged together. If you're interested in more of this, you should read Dawkins's "Greatest Show on Earth," a book about the evidence for evolution.

Evolution is why we people have different skins colours becuase like all lifeforms we adapt to suit our enviroments, evolution isn't about becoming better but any sort of psyical change i.e sickel cell amenia is not a good thing to have but it does protect your from maleria which is a lot worse

I know your being sarcastic. And I agree with your point. Creationists try to define evolution, and the logic and scientific evidence it as to back it up, out of existence. Their criteria for reality of course, is NOT reality.

Oh but you forgot the obvious conclusion: unless someone can prove this according to the rules you set up, creationism must then be completely true.
