Never mind, Allah does not belong to Muslims only. Had it been true, he would have created the whole world as Muslims.

It so happenned that the Arabic word for God is Allah which contains such qualities and charachteristics that can not be atrributed to the completeness of Allah if you define an omnipotent God in another language.

Therefore you as well, can ask anything from Allah you want to.

WHY MUSLIM then, as you asked.

Becoz..........

" Invite (people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful
Preaching, and argue with them in the best ways."Quran [16:125]

Believing that you live in US, you can choose to go VIA so many roads which lead to NY. Some will take you smoothly & swiftly in no time. Others may take you through troublesome and painful journey.
And some times it so happens, that you are misguided and one good day you find yourself in an undestined city.

Therefore it is wiser to do your research before choosing a 'path'.

Sure

The word "Allah" is simply the Arabic word for Almighty God, and is the same word used by Arabic speaking Christians and Jews. If one were to pick up an Arabic translation of the Bible, one would see the word "Allah" being use where the word "God" is used in English. Actually, the Arabic word for Almighty God, "Allah", is quite similiar to the word for God in other Semitic languages — for example, the Hebrew word for God is "Elah". For various reasons, some non-Muslims mistakenly believe that Muslims worship a different God than Jews and Christians. This is certainly not the case, since the Pure Monotheism of Islam calls all people to the worship of the God of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and all of the other prophets. However, even though Jews, Christians and Muslims worship the same God — since there is only one God — their concepts concerning Him differ in some significant ways.

Muslims believe in GOD(in arabic Allah), the Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and Compassionate, The Creator and The Provider, He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none equal or comparable unto Him.

seek guidance sincerely from THE CREATOR. THE CREATOR Most Generous and will never let any of His servants down. THE CREATOR is the One Who guides to the Straight Path, and He is Sufficient for us and is the best disposer of affairs

Ill answer the second part of the question:

why be muslim?

its not about following the masses for sure, its about your own peace of mind.

if you can find a religion that tells you that taking interest money is a sin because taking advantage of the financial crisis of another human is wrong,

if you can find a religion that teaches that were all human infront of God and no one may be a medium between you and Him,

if you can find a religion that says were born clean, no one may die for your sins or vice versa, and youre only responsible for you sins when you face God,

and if you can find a religion that says: weve created you from a pair of male and female and fashioned you into tribes so you may know each (not so ye may hate each other)

then am sure that religion will also give you a peace of mind.

Eventually, what it boils down to, you believe in all the messengers God has sent, but you realize in time, that God has not changed the message, but people have.

The only one left...is the Quran.

Yes you do! By asking to Allah, it means you believe in him, so as your wish is good for you, Allah will give it to you in his time. Allah is mighty creator who creates men no matter faith the man believe in. The word "Allah" is just an arabic word for "God", you don't have to be a muslim to pray.

well your answer is in your questions, NOOOOOOOOOOO your not a Muslim so why should Allah listen to those who do not believe in him and do not worship him!!!!!!! think about does it make sense. Become a Muslim and inshallah Allah might listen to you, but it all depends you can't ask for a million pounds/dollars because it's called greed and Allah does not like greedy people.

Of course. We share the same God, or Allah (One God).
The difference is we believe in Christ as the son of God. Islam believes Christ was just a Prophet.
Mohammad is the man in Islam. He ascended to Heaven, about 500 years after Christ. Go figure.

The One True God never denies man, only man denies him. God gives man all the good things before he asks, but his denial causes him to be blind before God's blessings.
God gives water as a good thing to all people.
He who accepts God's education physically, intellectually and spiritually, enjoys the great benefits of water and tries to share it to other people in its best conditions.
He who refuses that perfect education, complains about dirty, infected, poisonous water, thinks not of the benefits of water for other people, and accuses God for all the effects of flood, draught, water scarcity...And it is the same way with air, soil, fire, poisonous plant, microbes, lions...
Yes, let us get rid of our ignorance by coming to the education of the One True God through His Dine Messengers.

Hush hush,
Allah is what us Muslims call God. So even if you refer to him as the 'big guy upstairs' 'God' or 'Allah' if you believe in him then he'll hear your prayer.

But as I said if you believe in him (God) then you can ask for whatever you want.
