It depends on how you are going to do the work, as to how much it will cost you. If the walls are uneven and they just need a skim of plaster then this will be a cheaper option than plasterboarding

It will take you more than one day to do it, as you should really plaster the two opposite walls, and wait for them to start drying until you you do the adjacent walls.

Where I live plasterers charge about £100 per day. I had my living room ceiling plastered last year, it is 7 meters by 7 meters and 2 plasterers charged me £120.00 for just over half a days work, but I bought the plaster.

The easier option to this is to wallpaper, as long as you like it, it is now back in fashion.

If the work is done in one day by one plasterer then it has not been prepared properly. if the walls are smooth ie. painted over they will require scraping to form a key and will need 2 coats of PVA. ( if this is not done the new plaster can shell off. ) This alone is half a days work. But most plasterers should skim a room that size in a day. I would say the average price for the above work, approx. £250

Depends on the method. Are you intending to render the walls or line them with plaster board (dry wall)? And what about the ceiling?

one days work, small room should only cost you about £150ish . plastered will give u a smooth finish on which you can either paint or walpaper.. however if you scrape off the paper and dont plaster it may not look as smooth
