Ok so, I recently broke up with my girlfriend because I found out she had been making out with another guy. I also found out that another girl, my best friend, has had a thing for me since from the start of my last relationship. She didn't want to hurt the relationship so she ignored it until now. Well my ex had been jealous of her and I for a while (even though there was nothing between us), so she decided to make me jealous by making out with the other dude. Now that I'm single, my friend and I have started to see if things could work. I told her that I didn't have any feelings left for my ex, and that was true when I told her, but all of a sudden I am not so sure that it is true anymore. I know my ex is sorry, and we are still cool as friends, but recently small part of me keeps thinking about her. So I am really confused, I think want to be with the friend, but a small part of me keeps thinking about my ex. What should I do?

I think it's wise to stay with your current girlfriend, who is also your best friend. She has been considerate of you all along, and respectful of your relationship with your ex. Your ex was really immature to cheat on you with the excuse of making you jealous. Stick with your current girlfriend. Let bygones be bygones. You have now something much better.

Leave BOTH the hell alone.

Your "friend" is the point of contact and is probably the 1st lieutenant in command for your "ex". Anything you say "in confidence" will NOT be "off the record" and may easily get back to your ex.

To get over your ex, you must "keep it moving" and find a NEW social circle outside of your existing one. So, DON'T DATE your friend, because it is natural to do what is familiar and comforting.

You need to grow by being challenged and you need something new.

Find someone totally new who you can enjoy life with it and when you tell her something in confidence, it probably won't get back to your "ex"!

SEVER all ties to your EX

Think about that.

Loyalty is VERY strong among females.

As a friendly advice, you have to forget about the past!
Past is past, you`ll just hurt your best-friend`s feelings if you will still think about your ex-gf...You will just make things much confusing and it may cost you a trouble!
Or why don`t you just talk to your best-friend or to your current gf, i know she`ll understand you...talk to her calmly before doing a move to your ex-gf!!!!! I hope you can arrange everything soon with your feelings!
Gud luck!!!!

She's a cheater for deliberately making out with someone else, once a cheater will always be a cheater. She did it once and I bet she could do it again. Move on.
