Yes I totally agree with you.. You live once... living a routine in which you do not enjoy is not making the most out of your life.. After a while you have to say to yourself - "what's the point?"

Not all people that work do it for money and possessions, unless you call being the best a possession.
If routine kills creativity, how did Edison invent the light bulb?
If stress and pressure deprive us of joy, why did we want to win WWII?
Find joy in work and joy in life will come.

routine kills creativity....stress and prssure deprives us of joys of living............This is what thats called life. there would be no meaning for life without these. Even animals have to do some effort to have food. Every person should have something to do with his life, to make it meaningful.

I think its called Paradise..or Heaven..and yes the joy of the Lord is our strength to get us through, but it is not good to be slothful(lazy), but working with joy--yes would be wonderful, not to mention it pleases the Lord when we work with joy in our heart. God bless.

every day i still say "i can't believe they pay me to do this".
work is a form of play.
i know painters, writers, musicians, etc ... most agree there has to be some structure to channel their works ... some doing what they do 'routinely' every day ... habitually create.
but i get your point. you just have to figure out how to make it work for you. that's what we all do.
