This is a good question. There is only one God. The Almighty whom has no beginning and no ending nor has a child or parent. All the heavens and hells universes, galaxies and whatever there is out there was created by god Almighty. Imagine there are many gods as some religion preach. There would be utter chaos.

No, He is one God

Allah (God) says in the Holy Qur'an

{
No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!
He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him!
}

...beats me. I'm still waiting for the god of this universe to announce himself/herself whatever over a loud speaker to the world. When that happens then all the christians can say 'I told you so' with a grin from ear to ear.
