People who are arrogant often "exaggerates" their own worth or importance in an overbearing manner. A lot of church leaders are arrogant, a few are humble, meek, etc. I think what you meant to ask is "Is the human race ignorant?" If so, then the answer is YES!
All of us is lacking in all knowledge, like about God and creation because we are ignorant. We believe in tangible things like air, even though we can't see it, only because we can prove that it exist. However, things like God and heaven, makes all of us ignorant, because we can't prove that they do exist. Things like prophecies and miracles are part of our history, but we can't explain how it was done, even though there were many witnesses.
I am a "Believer" in Christ but not in religion, they make us believe they know, they can explain, they can prove, they can interpret. Then they divided us, put us against each other, prayed for us, and failed us every time. God didn't. He send His Son to explain, to prove, and to teach us. He is coming back to do it again. Wait on Him. Don't stop believing. Those who believe have something to look forward too in life, they have hope, while the rest don't have anything.
Think about it and also, if you give someone else best answer, this one was worth it. God bless :-)

Some humans are certainly arrogant. I'd be more inclined to think that if God did send his son, he sent him in our image so we wouldn't recognise him as being different from us. With the zenophobia in the world I can only imagine what we would have done if some dude had shown up actually *LOOKING* like the son of God.
Maybe it would be better to spend some time working out how to make the world a better place than bashing other peoples beliefs.
PS I'm not a religious type myself, I just prefer tolerance in all things - if people want to be brainwashed cos it helps tham make sense of their existence who are you to burst their bubble, now who is arrogant?

No discussion there then lol I THINK YOU JUST HAVE YA MIND MADE UP.
I chortled when I read what that Greed person said.
You know that as this society becomes more God less then morality will subside. The basis for morality has to be something substantial. Where God has been cut out and society's have been eventually given freedom of thought, exploitation of the vulnerable has gotten worse not better.
Can I also point out that one of the people that has agreed with you in this question has also shamelessly portrayed them selves as a person with Downs syndrome. Taking the Micky of the vulnerable is to me one of the boundaries which should not be crossed.

Whats wrong with being brainwashed if the result is that you believe you are here for the purpose of creating harmony, peace and love? The core of any religion is that we are servants of whatever God and should spread his love around, basically. Thus teaching one another not to hate and destroy.
The whole idea of faith is that you believe without tangible evidence.

Only ignorant people are arrogant.
If I don't learn to know the nobility of other people, I arrogantly consider myself as an advanced monkey, while other monkeys are backward, so I can oppress them!
If I don't learn to know the meaning of the human life, I keep on arrogantly acting like the strongest monkey and enjoying at the most all physical pleasures before I return to dust.
If I don't learn to realize the omnipotence of God, I arrogantly believe that stupid nature intelligently involves into marvellous things, in which I am especially genius by heredity!
The One True God is patiently training all humble human beings who patiently learn to attain higher and higher nobility in all His worlds.

The human race is such a variety of races how on earth could one global god appeal to all? so each nation and tribe created a god or Deity to worship and arrogance was introduced because every tribe and nation believe theirs is the one true religion. everyone needs something to believe in without religion i believe the world would be a much more violent place with no judgement on our actions from a higher power we would all be free to do anything we want without retribution. murder rape paedophilia .

over the years i've had so many conversations about "GOD". i'm not convinced! if he created the universe, what was he standing on while he did it? if there is a "GOD", did he also create illnesses such as cancer, leukeamia, and cerebral palsy? and if we're all gods children, why is he so cruel? and why has he taken so many children from us before they've even had a life? frankly, you could go on forever about this subject but no-one will ever have the answers!

You have not proved "inaccuracy of religious teachings", you stated your thoughts.
I think you're hurting so badly that your statements are all over the place. You're not focused in your thoughts.

I'll drink to that. Though tangibility can be faked, it is a good argument.
