My best friends are deaf and your teacher is full of bs. DON'T listen to her. My friends aren't immature or stupid and we are 11 years old!

Your teacher should go back to training college and get re-assessed. What a load of bull he/she is speaking. I've worked with many deaf people, they're deaf, not stupid. They have to grow up fast and work harder than hearing people, so certainly aren't "immature". As for people who take drugs, they're obviously very street-wise, and I don't think you could call them immature, except for the fact that they got into drugs in the first place and stay hooked. Is your teacher really qualified, have you actually seen their diploma ?
