if your talking about the vosa regulations for lgv its
4 hours 30 mins then a 45 min break another 4 hours 30mins then its a 9 hour sleep over
so thats 9 hours a day but you can extend it out to ten once a week total 40 hours in 1 week
also loading and unloading are classed as working unless someone else does it

I'm authorized to use any municipal corporation fleet vehicle except those deemed out of service or for revenue traffic. My
usual choice is #243 but #304 is fine if the snow plow equipment
isn't on it. I have a M-F day shift of 40 hours so my average paid
driving time probably exceeds 10 hours but never outside county.
Another six hours of unpaid driving occurs weekly if I don't walk
to work or bicycle. I have sea and speleological hobbies which
are included in these estimations. Ditto, foreign travel.

if you work for a company that requires you to drive its no more than 9, if its for personal use and you drove over 9 hrs without having a break and you caused an accident you will be prosecuted for reckless driving or driving without due care and attention

are you talking truck driving-then you are regulated on how any hours I think about 9 hours a day regular driving as much as you want. teen drivers- are restricted also
