I would like to get an idea which desk lamp is good for reading? I need a bright light for reading. Thanks.

I would paint one wall an accent wall (preferably the one which the bed will be against) in either a burgundy or a majogany. Then paint the other walls a rich cream color. You accessorize better that way without the entire room being the same color, and it's easier to re-do the one wall if you want to change it down the road.
