Pit bulls are know to clamp down on the neck of their opponents and will not release until the other dies, they don't fight like regular dogs, this is why they are being banned, don't get me wrong some pit bulls are big lovable babies but when trained to fight they are the most aggressive, Dobies are like most other dogs they got their rep. from movies for being guard dogs.

It may come as a surprise, but pit-bulls actually have a weaker bite (pounds per square inch) than dobermans or rottweillers. The difference, and the reason for the rediculous urban myth about "locking jaws" and unbelievable bite strengths with pits is because of attitude. Pits have two tricks they don't learn: They don't roll over, and they don't play dead!!!! (Metaphorically speaking) Pits don't give up, they are brave, courageous, and loyal to their owner to the bitter end, with no thought for danger or pain to themselves. That's why they were used/bred for dog-fighting in the 1st place, and incidently, why they make such great pets for people with small children: they can tolerate an inhuman amount of pain/"abuse" without reacting to it. In fighting, it was their ability to fight despite terrible injuries and to maintain a "deathgrip" bite hold despite being bitten and torn at. With kids, they tolerate tail/ear pulling and smacking and pinching and riding, without becoming angry or snapping. I don't think you intend to fight dogs, but I do think you're after the "toughest dog".....don't be one of those guys that gets a pit because they're big and bad-a$$....get a pit because he/she will be the best companion you've ever known in your life.

Top 10 Fighters: 1) Caucasian (this beast is 100 kg plus and has a thick almost inpenetratable coat like a lions collar) 2) Rottweiler (if trained to kill, due to his Alpha-male persona he will dominate any dog, including a Caucasian in some cases. This dog is the most intelligent and has the fastest reactions in this list. 3rd strongest bite force only behind Kangal and Caucasian) 3) Kangal (This dog is big and has the strongest bite force. The reason its below the 2 dogs above is only due to the fact that Kangals are the dumbest on this list.) 4) Dogo Argentino (This dogs can kill boars, bears and in packs even pumas. They are the most agile in this list, however they tend to bite above the neck and not directly in the throat like the others here. They usually jump during fights and attack from above) 5) Bully Kutta (they are explosive and fast with an average bite, they lack stamina) 6) Tosa Inu ( Big dogs and good at fighting but definetely not better than the above) PS. Pitbulls are overrated and weak. These 6 above can kill even the best pitbull. Rottweilers are known for destroying pitbulls for fun. Go watch on LiveLeak some vids

How about YOU trying to fight each dog, then you will know, that's if you can still speak. Again, people like you give animals a bad name, and that's just for even thinking about the ridiculous question your asked.

The pit would win because it is just plain crazy and mean and tough. I do believe however that if you took a doberman and made him crazy that he could definately hold his own against a pit.

Having owners that would allow them to fight, they're both losers.
