I'm finding a church for a friend who has just arrived at Montreux, Swiss for her studies. She is from Hong Kong, so French and German languages are not familiar to her. Please leave any information about English or Chinese churches in Montreux... thank you so much for your help!

With love in Christ.

I've never been to Switzerland so I can't help you on that score -- except to say that if your friend is Catholic, she needs to go to a Catholic church.

She cannot receive the Eucharist or any of the other sacraments at a Protestant church.

Not to mention, Catholics are obligated to attend MASS every Sunday, and Mass does not take place at any Protestant church.

It does not matter if the Mass is said in a language that she does not understand -- she'll still be meeting her obligation as a Catholic, and she'll still be able to receive Communion.

There are probably bilingual guides to the Mass online, as well as bilingual readings for Mass each week, that can help her follow what's going on.
