Does anyone feel that the Indian Education System for students under 8th grade is worse than that of Public schools in Silicon Valley? In my opinion the Indian system does not allow any hands on activities (under 8th grade) in science, only teaches the history of India (very little about other places), lacks an atmosphere that creates self-confidence and maturity in its students (by 7th grade many still play Pok'emon and have never found out about death) , and too few options (absolutely no choices about what subject you want to take until you reach 8th grade).
