I've seen children lick their tongues at the table and pass gas. I am very forgiving of children as they usually do not know the difference. I do think a parent should wipe their nose.

For someone to blow their nose at a table while eating is gross. But if this person is disabled in anyway that makes it a chore for them to get up in the first place, then I can find it in my heart to excuse them.

I think it is the same as people coughing or yawning and not covering their mouths. They are too lazy to demonstrate any manners. Girls who bend over and show their underwear make me want to vomit too. No self respecting person acts like this towards others!!!

It's better than sneezing, but I actually agree with you.
Yes, it is something that needs to be done from time to time. However, if that time comes around as one is sat in a restaurant amongst other diners, then a visit to the mens room or ladies room in order to blow one's nose is the only decent recourse.

Well, of course one can blow their nose in a restaurant!

I go to very high class places, and people do it there frequently I'm sure!

The places I go to tho, have restrooms and I see people excusing themselves from the table to the restroom all the time.

So yes, it is proper to blow ones nose in a restaurant!

I would agree to u if the person is doing it purposely but if he is really suffering from the disease than we request him to behave as a good humanbeing and to be hygenic

to me, it's very improper. but it really depends on the culture of a certain society. take europians for instance, they blow their nose anywhere anytime more comfortably than sneezing, coz they don't say 'excuse me' to that. but i am not implying that they are rude, they are not, generally, it's just the 'culture' of the europian society, they just, blow their nose.

Sure its proper.... as long as you do it in the bathroom rather than at the table.

obviously if someone sneezes they are caught unawares and you cant penalize them for that. otherwise they should be excusing themselves and going to the restroom.

Pick your battles... I'd rather have a person blow his/her nose than not.
