Yay

It is not only the right, it is the responsibility of the government to protect its citizens safety, economics, and social issues by enforcing the border and not merely limit but completely end illegal entry.

This protection can be of any form needed - a fence is by no means too extreme, nor is it overly expensive given the potential costs of not protecting the border or benefits of eliminating illegal entry.

Anyone caught entering any country illegally has no rights and deserve no sympathy. Period.

Do what you want with immigration, but illegal entry needs to be stopped soon, cold, and without prejudice using whatever resources are necessary.

YES!!!! The question is; is the Office of Border Patrol in D.C. and the U.S. Attorney going to allow the Border Patrol Agents to do their jobs. At the current time policy is being changed again. Agents will not be permitted to draw their weapons until fired upon. Way to go Johnny Sutton. We need more Agents along the Mexican border; and ones that will not be afraid to draw their weapons when needed. We have a large number of both drug and human smugglers coming into this country on a daily basis. God help us all.

Yes. Especially since if we has open borders the influence of illegal immigrants would mean lower wages and less jobs. More Latins would come to fill in the low skilled positions and more Indians would come to take the high income technical professions.

Yes, illegal immigrants are taking a toll on our economy on top of the iraq issue. Border patrols recently have been getting shot at by illegals attempting to make it across the border. What irrates me is that the illegals are only gonna work here to send money back to their families in Mexico.

Oh yes.
But not with a fence.

The U S has all of these military bases that the tax payer is paying for, Move them to the border, End to end won't cost us any more once the bases are there,

yes, if this will secure the country from unwanted alliens. also, if the enforcement is not only carried out in the south but also in the north. this will keep us from being accused of biased towards the mexicans.
