Well presuming you mean cousin and not cushion (spelling!!) I expect it is quite common better check out the legality but it's probably ok....good luck, personally I have never fancied my second cousins!

It is illegal in many if not all states to marry a 2nd cousin. You have to be 3rd cousins to be able to marry. The reason is related to blood diseases of the inbred.

It is not uncommon in my experience.I know of quite a few couples who are first cousins and are married ---this has not given any problems and nobody has batted an eyelid.
