I found more web links on Vitiglio.

Watch with using sun screens and lotions. Anything that has "fragrance" added, will draw moisture away from the skin. So anytime you use any kind of product of such a nature, use "Unscented" or "Scent-Free". Also watch using products with Isopropyl alcohol in them. They also draw moisture out of the skin.

Keep the skin and hair cleaned and groomed regularly. Only apply ointments as needed and then clean the skin back off before applying the "next coating" of the ointment.

Perhaps add in Fatty Acid Omega 13 supplements such as fish oil. You can use the fish oil that you get at the drug store. Only give them three capsules or if you do liquid form, a spoonful a day. Too much can cause diarrhea or mess up their digestion.

If your dog has exposed skin that has the vitiligo you will need to put sunscreen on the pink/white areas to protect the skin from burning.

Good luck!
