Both- Religious & Political leaders of Pakistan are fueling the fundamentalism since it keeps them in power.
After sometime, the minds of people will be so "closed & corrupted beyond any recovery"; then where is question of getting United again.
moreover it is proven that new generation of Muslims are getting attracted to "Reactionary forces" rather than to Reasons; very easily. even world wide this trend is upsetting. so, there is real threat to World-peace now.
there wouldn't be peace any more.............

If you are thinking as Political leader than I am sorry to say that it is impossible. Because both country's political leaders want to keep dispute for their bad political advantage.
But if you are thinking in terms of Human, than yes it is possible. If Germany can get united by breaking a Berlin wall than why we can not break our political and religious wall. But country's peoples are suffering due to boarder line.

In order to live in peace and harmony, you need not have to physically unite. Peace and cooperation is possible, if Muslims are willing to cross their invisible Islamic LOC. This is possible, if Indian Muslims learn to project their Indian identity before Muslim identity. They must change their mindset and integrate in to the main stream.

It's doubtful because of the growing Muslim population in each country. Any group of people that accepts strapping bombs on their children and sending them to places to kill innocent people, will never be harmonious with others.

Divided leadership equals to divided country. I'd say IMPOSSIBLE to reunite both countries. To start with, which would be the name to choose? Pakindia or Indipak? No one will give in.
