I use 2 or 3 sites when buying cars one line. First I reserach the cars on Edmunds.com then I look for the cars on Autotrader.com and then I double check the cars history on Carfax.com

Make sure to also Google the phone number of anyone before you call them to see if there are any scams that they are running.

Auto trader.com is the best by far. Many selections at great prices.

I would try Craigslist.com , just beware of scammers:)

I've used http://www.autotrader.com, and it worked for ME. There is also http://www.cars.com.
