Sometimes pools have different levels of chlorine. Chlorine can effect people in different ways. My dad until recently suffered from bad asthma attacks and it was recently confirmed the high levels of chlorine bought them on. Being sick after swimming isn't normal, get him checked asap, if he keeps being sick you don't want it to effect him wanting to go swimming in the future.
Good luck xx

Actually, there are other documented cases of numerous people ( and babies are especially vulnerable ) getting sick after visiting a waterpark. Most likely, there was a contaminent such as fecal matter (from a leaky diaper) in the pool, which then was recirculated through the water spray. Chances are your toddler is not the only waterpark visitor who became ill today, but reporting and verifying such exposure is usually non-existent. There is a strong possibility that your toddler has a bacterial infection / contamination which could potentially be very serious. The toddler definitely needs to be seen by a doctor as soon as possible.

I would take him to the er now. Only go by ambulance if the hospital is really far away. An ambulance ride can be very expensive. And should be used for life threatening situations only. Throwing up is not immediately life threatening. Once you get there he'll get a room, but my not get seen any sooner. No matter how you show up, your seen by the doctor in order of serverity. If he's trowing up he'll get a room pretty quickly anways, they wont want him throwing up in the waiting room.
