Its an age old Question, Why do women believe they should be paid for ? Do they have any idea what it cost ? How supervicial are they ? and even though they may say they don't, why if given a chance will they milk a guy for money ? Some seem to make a career out of it ! Is there any difference between such women and prostitutes? (At least a hookers not a theif). So why do women think it's ok to bleed guys dry ? Remember the saying "a fool and his money are easily parted" ? Well i'm not any deceitful womens fool !

WCaroline, thankyou for you'r comments, seeing the person you'r with as an "extension of yourself"... does that view relate to existential phenomenology (as in Social Psychology) If so are you saying that if you value yourself than you will subsequently value anothers compant as well ? and that money won't enter the picture because you love the experience of sharing quality time and making wonderful new discoveries ?

Wow! Sounds as if you got taken to the cleaners. I apologize on behalf of all the women (98% of us) who love a man because of WHO he is not because of WHAT he has or the size of his bank account. Trust me, we aren't all that way. And if the women you find are what you describe, start looking somewhere else.

Well, you have obviously met some conniving women. However, I would like to point out that it is only very recently that women have been "allowed" to work outside of the home.
Most men would rather die than have their wife help with the finances. For centuries we weren't allowed to speak in public, inherit anything on the death of our spouses, we weren't allowed to drink, smoke, have sex before marriage (and in some cases after). We were not allowed to divorce, we were not allowed birth control. All of the power was given by men to men.
I can understand that you feel you were taken advantage of, but I would like you to remember, that allowing men to foot the bill is something that men literally "beat" into us since the dawn of time.

Well women like being nurtured and taken care of however i shall not complain about ur comments if we r talking about a woman of easy virtue i assume uv slept with her from the bitterness u have .Women some women and i mean ladies with class dont want to be bought but if she is ur wife it is ur obligation to take care of her properly if its just a gal who sleeps with u and asks for money in the morning what are u doing with her infact stop fornicating alltogethor

i think the question you should ask yourself is why dont you want to share with your partner or potential partner? i think you also have to accept the reality that men show their prowess finesse and capacity for caring during dates. if the man doesnt pay for the date, that is fine. but that just shows how much he doesnt care. how much he doesnt share.
im a woman. i buy my mother dinners and i spoil her. i spoil my sister too. that is because i am generous. i share what i have with others. and i dont whine and complain about it if they take a lot, because i value the person that i am with as an extension of myself.
you can do whatever you want. but i doubt youll find a very nice woman on the road youre on. in fact, you will miss the one that you really want if you continue to be nasty and unsharing. because women read right through it. well maybe youll find someone who doesnt care much for herself. best of luck to you though.
