Don't tell me the word God is for other religions because my Christian friend says that their God is the ONE, true God.

You say Jesus is sent to save us all but he is also sent by God, I know he's God but then he sent himself donw here. but why worship the son? You don't seem to say that Christians worship God but you say you worship Jesus. I know about the trinity, but I just don't understand why you say you worship Jesus but not say you worship God.

From a Christian, specifically Catholic, point of view Jesus both is the son of God and is God. He needed to do that to save us, to take the form of a man. It's complicated. See the Catholic Catholicism for lots on this, like http://www.vatican.va/archive/catechism/p1s2c2a2.htm#I
You have to have a word to talk about a concept. Christians call the ultimate being and creator God, so do others.

For us Catholics, we believe in the Holy Trinity meaning there are 3 persons in one God - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. For God so loved that world that He sent his only begotten son on Christmas day and we call Him Jesus Christ. Hope this helps.

All religious people have a God spot, or G-spot.
They are hard wired for the need to worship some kind of god,so they make one up, and make up a doctrine and call it religion.
Now they must indoctrinate others to confirm their G-spot reality.
The lowest common denominator in life is survival, it must survive, it becomes alive to that person, people. But it cost them a part of them self a part of humanity. To believe in a human sacrifice is so evil to me, as do the Christians believe.
I am liberate from all religions as a result of being strong!

God is triune: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. Each is God, and God is each.
Also, if you'll remember, in the Old Testament, God did have a name: Jehovah.
And yes, there is the one, true God, but one of the great mysteries of God is the trinity (as mentioned above)

Jesus is God, the Trinity is one, based on christian beliefs. You don't understand this because you relate God to what you know and understand, and God is more than what you, or anyone else knows.

god and Jesus do not mean the same person. god is Jesus son. we are all gods sons and daughters. Jesus is our brother and he was sent here to save us from our sins. god is the creator of everything.
