whew complicated question..congrats on the sobriety. if she is confiding in you as a friend then be there. make up for the times that maybe you wasnt there when you were drinking..but also dont force your own ideas on her..dont tell her things like break up with him or whatever..she has to decide this for herself. as long as you are her friend first things may lead back into a second chance when she sees that you are trying to change and make yourself better..which should be number one right now..i understand that you want to help her as much as possible but sometimes we need to take care of ourselves before we can really help others..be there be strong and trustworthy and let time and your friend decide on this one.

well, she's with another guy so it wouldn't really make sense to say "i still have strong feelings for you and want to be with you", but when you give her advice about the other guy, you should tell her what you really think. If you dont thin kshe should be with him then tell her, 'listen, i honestly think you can do better htan him. someone who makes you cry a lot obviously isnt good enough for you, and this is coming from the bottom of my heart because i care about you so much" or something like that. I don't know. You could always just tell her that you don't drink anymore and the reason you stopped was for her. Maybe she'll reconsider being with you.

Leave it alone. Your intentions are good, but you need to get yourself to a better place first. Once you've got a year under your belt, then you'll be in a much better place to help others.

never hurt a heart that loves u, coz wounded hearts are like crushed flowers that never bloom again but leave the perfume on the hands that crush them !!!!!
