I do not like it when someone says "read the gospels" and then sound byte the bit they think proves their point. 1 Thess 4 has a lot to say but the quote used was misused. Here is the whole of 1 Thess. 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
and 18
4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Anybody see the word Christian or antichrist in these direct quotes?
That's because they don't exist in the whole of 1 Thessalonian 4.

Apparently you are not familiar with scripture, because your question makes no sense.
Acccording to 1 Thess 4, the Christians, the believers, will be raptured out to "meet the Lord in the air", so Christians will not be dealing one on one with the Anti-Christ.
Those who are unbelievers will be subject to the Great Tribulation. During that time, after hearing the witness of the 144,000, there will be "Tribulation saints", those who came to know Christ during this hellish period of the end times. Those who do not receive the mark of the Anti-Christ, according to scripture, will be put to death. They will most certainly be martyrs.
Read the scriptures, and then you will be able to present more lucid questions.
