Just from writing this my whole body is shaking! My brother got out of jail 3 months ago and was trying to get his life straight. Since then he got his son and wife back as well as his job. Well today he took my parents car and hasnt came back and wouldnt answer his cellphone. So I decided to check our cellphone records online and he has been using it. I called one of the numbers and the dam guy said "No i have no idea who you are talking about" Obviously if he talked to my brother five times for 15 minutes he knows who the hell he is! Well the point is my parents are going to go to work walking around 5a.m to go work because of my brother. Another thing is he's on probation and has a suspended license! I'm furious! My dad has just suffered from a stroke and im afraid that he'll suffer from another! What would you do in my position?

You may want to at least give him a chance to come back before your parents go to work. Once he returns, you guys shouldn't let him have access to the car (keys) again. If it is possible to text him, let him know nicely that you guys care for him and that he should be strong and stay away from things he might regret. If things go 'bad', you really should hand that other guy's number to the police, just in case he's involved in some way.

Sorry to hear your dilemma. The right thing would be for your parents to report the vehicle as stolen. What your brother did is wrong and he needs to realize the consequences of his actions. He is on probation. Then his probate needs to know. Your parents are not doing him a favor by not reporting this. Hopefully your brother will come to his senses and return the car. Otherwise he will be in jail on charges more serious that he will not be able to rectify. Just went through a similar situation with my son. Good luck.

Wow, that's a shame. Call the cops and have them check down the car down. Do everything you can to help the situation because you want to help your parents out. If my sister (she's a troublemaker sometimes) ever did that (she's younger) I would track her down like a hawk. But if he's older than you, don't let that stop you unless he's mentally ill and will put a knife to your neck if you find him. If you need any help, talk to a social worker. Post up what happens. Good Luck with catching him!

Call the cops and have them track your brother to that damn guy he was talking to. He knows something that he isn't telling and he got your brother involved somehow. Since he hasn't got a valid license to drive have the cops put out an APB on the car. Probably the fastest means in finding him and the car.

The only thing you can reasonably do in this situation is to be there BIGTIME for your parents, because ultimately, it is they who will need to "do something". Hopefully, they will realize that he has not succeeded in changing, and that they must not become his victims. If your dad's health is at stake, it's probably best to approach your mom.

It will be frustrating for you at times, but try to remember, this is their son, their child and they look at those baby pictures and say "where did it go wrong?' Best wishes to you all.

Even though he is you brother, stealing a car (whether it's a relative's or a stranger's) is grand theft auto. even if you don't want to press charges, you may be able to just have the car tracked down by the license plate.

But definately do something.

the only song approximately this unique concern could be "hotel California" by using The Eagles. nevertheless an incredible album--I easily have an old vinyl replica that I have been given for my 14th birthday in (choke) 1977.

LET HIM BE. OBVIOUSLY HE'S OLD ENOUGH TO GO TO JAIL AND IMMATURE TO DO THE SAME **** AGAIN. IF AND WHEN YOU DO GET YOUR CAR BACK CUT THE LEASH AND STOP BABYING HIM. IT'S NOT YOUR JOB TO TAKE CARE OF HIM....EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO KEEP TELLING YOURSELF THAT.
