I really want to start talking to this guy I like! at my last school dance he said he just wanted to be friends. For starters, i am really dumb when it comes to talking to guys! I only have 3 guy friends (not in my school and only friends!!).They say all you have to do is start a convo. about simple things. The only problem is that I can't even blurt out a hi or what's up to my crush!!
I am really shy and it does not come natural for me to talk to guys in a calm manner. I am nervous that if i start a convo. with my crush i will mess it all up and make myself look like an idot!
Another thing is that he is pretty popular and i am not so popular
i am also nervous that he and his friends will think i am stupid for even thinking about crushing on him!!
Overall, what should i do about this?? and if you have any tips please tell me !!!

Sounds like you need to slow it down. If he said, 'he justed wanted to be friends', then, not to let you down but, that's usually what us guys say when we don't want to have a relationship with someone. And usually us guys are pretty proactive about pursuing opportunities with girls we're truly attracted to. Ask your friends to do some 'recon' for you. If they can determine for you that he's interested in you, then fine, approach him. Otherwise, watch out for yourself. The last thing you want to do, is approach him in a way that makes him think you are easy prey, and end up in a situation where you feel used (which I want to make sure isn't where you're headed right now).

well, for starters.. i know what that is like.. it is just like my situation.. i like a guy who is popular and i am not the most popular girl but we are still friends.. if he is any of your classes then start a conversation.. whether it be about the teacher, the lesson or just what you think he might be into.. also, just be yourself and if he likes you then he might ask you out! just relax and dont stress or get nervous..

well do think what they think of u. if any girl had a crush on me I wouldnt see her as stupid instead I try to let her know im not intrested. I say im not intrested, sorry. They wont think of u as stupid unless u act like one. just say hi ask him stuff. also smile and act like u like him, dont hide your feelings. good luck
