Mecneistasis
Had a vision/dream of an egypian woman (WAY back in the old days) wearing a head dress of the godess Isis. She was very tired and looked at me and said this word... Its driving me crazy... any ideas??
P.S. I had no clue what catagory to post this under.

Definition: suffix (-stasis) - slowing; stable state
Examples: bacteriostasis (bacterio-stasis ) - the slowing down of bacterial growth
Can't help with mecnei yet though.
If you take Isis out of mecneistasis the remaining letters can be rearranged to spell casement. Prolly irrelevant!
Mecnei can spell icemen, and icemen are certainly in stasis!

the person above me says it may be egyptian but if you don't know the egyptian language, how is it possible that it could come up in your dreams. I'd say it may be just a mix of different words? maybe it's a scramble?

May be the word is not in English, but in another language, in Egiptian for example. Why dont u try to search in an egipcian dictionary?

i have no idea what the word means, but even if you don't know the language, you might have heard it some time in the past and now your subconscious suddenly remembered it and it brought it back. weird things, dreams are
