Many of my Muslim friends told me that prophet Muhammed had NEVER had any sexual relationships outside of marriage. However, when I read the Quran and the biography of prophet Muhammed, I found that he had two concubines (sex slaves):
1- The first one was "Maria" who was a Christian sex slave given to him as a "gift" from the king of Egypt. The history tells that prophet Muhammed had sex with her outside of marriage until she gave birth to his son (IBRAHIM) and then prophet Muhammed freed her and married her.

2- The second one was Reyhana Bint Shimon, whom prophet Muhammad enslaved during one of his many wars and refused his proposal for marriage (like what he did with two other slaves) and preferred to stay in slavery instead of marrying him.

Does anyone know why Muslims say that prophet Muhammed never had sexual relationships outside marriage although he had those two sex slaves?

Maryam Qibtiyah (R.A) also known as Maria al-Qibtiyah. Maryam and her sister were sent to Prophet Muhammad as gifts. They had been raised in Egypt as Copts, before they reached Madina both girls accepted Islam. Maryam is said to have married Prophet Muhammad(pbuh). Maryam’s sister was married to Hasan b. Salat.

Maryam was not allotted an ordinary hut where the other wives lived, but a garden house was built for Maryam in upper Madina. Maryam bore a son who was named Ibrahim. Maryam was the only wife beside Khadija to have the Prophet’s(pbuh) child. Maryam was loved and liked by all the wives as she had brought joy into the Prophet’s life. The Prophet(pbuh) spent much time with them in their garden home playing with his son. Unfortunately when Ibrahim was only 18 months old, Ibrahim became seriously ill and died.

Maryam spent three years with the Prophet, until his death, and died five years later in 16 AH. During the last five years of her life she remained a recluse and almost never went out except to visit the grave of the prophet or her son’s grave.

so basically maria was married 2 muhammed(saw) wen she gave birth 2 ibrahim .dunno if the info of rayhana bint shimon u gave is true or not

That link doesn't say that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) had sex outside marriage, Maria el-Coptia was a gift from the Christian Copt leader to him, but there's no proof that relations out of wedlock was committed.

He married both of them.

In islam it's allowed to have sex with concubines it's not a sin.

I don't know if he had sex with them before marriage though.

Because they want to show that Islam is a great religion, they just convert you by their words, not by the qu'ran, if they show you passages from the qu'ran then of course you won't convert, because of the violent and sexual verses. And yes, Muhammad did have two sex slaves and he was a pedophile.

no.Back then,it was allowed to have sexual relations with your slaves.Everyone was accustomed to that.No one really cared. And Allah said it was ok.Also they were not sex slaves.Nor were they slaves. They were maids. Some sayings that you read can be lies also. Some people make up lies about him.It depends on who and where you get your information from.
