i take ambien caus i cant sleep and 2 nights ago i decided to take 2 and a half pills and try to go to sleep faster... when i woke up i had cuts all over my body i was so ****** up i didnt feel anything i barely remembered anything untill i saw the bloody razor blade im suprised i didnt pass out from all the blood i lost ill never take that much ever i feel like so depressed all the time now and i hate it

You need help! Go to the ER at the hospital nearest you! Ambien is just a sleeper, just what you took it for. It would not cause this kind of a reaction to your system. You evidently need medication to help you deal with your depression and issues, which causes the depression. But the pills didn't make you do that to yourself! You did it to yourself because it sounds like you are a "cutter."

It's actually not that uncommon for situations like this to occur with use of Ambien. Ambien really screwed me up when I took it and then wasn't able to fall asleep right away. That's why physicians stress the importance of only taking Ambien right before you plan on going to bed.
Ambien made me hallucinate, cut, and just act like I was drunk. Ambien might not be the best medication for you and you should speak with your doctor about trying something new.
