I'm not from there but I would suggest somewhere outdoors if the weather permits. A bunch of 3 year olds inside is not fun. Or if you feel like it, how about renting a swimming pool or gymnastics gym? somewhere where adults can socialize while kids burn off energy so they will go home and sleep!! The cheapest though is always outdoors at picnic tables near a park.

The Rainforest Cafe is fun. I believe the one nearest to LA would be the Anaheim and Costa Mesa locations.
