why do you want to lose weight? i can guarantee you, you're not fat. i'm 5'10.5" and 173 pounds, and according to everybody,not even in the overweight category. don't worry about your weight. i'm sure you look fine, even if you feel you don't.

Running is not the only way to lose weight! June is like 4 months away, so just start working out, like doing cardio regularly (about for an hour or so a day, 3-4 days a week) and cut out junk food and you'll easily lose 7 lbs by june! Drink lots of water too!

I'd say Dallas advice is best-it's not so much how far you run as for how long. You need about 40 min to an hour to start burning fat. A brisk walk will work as well, also stay away from soda and that includes diet soda, stay away from milk, no matter what people tell you milk is bad, it is nothing but fat yet everyone thinks it is good for you, they are wrong. You can get calcium from other sources. And stay away from chips and bread. Lots of fruit, lots of vegetables, and lots of water along with a brisk walk for an hour a day and maybe a little weightlifting. 7 lbs will disappear in no time.

Any aerobic exercises lasting more than 20 minutes burns fat. Stop eating deserts. No more donuts, cakes, pies, ice cream, cokes, Pepsi or any other sodas can you eat or drink. Watch how much you eat for each meal compared to how active you are at the moment. Drink plenty of water every day. Too much food and too little exercises makes fat.

take it from a guy dont try to be a twig until youre 18-20 dont let yourself balloon either but dont worry about staying small until teenage years are over besides twiggy girls are not that attractive unless the guy is weird.

Girl,
you gotta start eating right as well. But yeah run about 1 mile everyday, and then build up your strength and tolerance. Get up to about 3 miles a day , BUT don't burn yourself out. skip days here and there. BUT MOSTLY love yourself the way you are. have a good life.
