But I recently realized that although my parents have endless numbers of videos of my sister in her first halloween costume, play, ballerina performance, etc, they don't have a single video of me. I've been in the family for 14 damn years, and I've never enjoyed being the blacksheep, but that broke my heart. What should I do?

Blacksheep means what - are you totally different personality wise than your sister?? Is she outgoing and all that?? Maybe your parents don't think you would LIKE making a video with them... could be many many misunderstandings going on here - if you can't tell them to their faces that you are heartbroken, then try writing them a letter - but whatever you do, do not let this go - they must know how you feel and the sooner the better.

Maybe something happened to your parents when you were born. Maybe things turned the other way for them... hardships, problems, etc. Maybe that's why they didn't have the time or money to video you. There has to be a good reason, not that they don't love you as much. But still that's wrong to not have one single video of you. To find out the "real" reason, just ask your dad or mom, whoever you're more comfortable with. It's good to know about family stuff. Sometimes raising the first kid of the family is exhausting because you overwork yourself, so you don't do as much with your second kid. It happens.

Us black sheep memebers are the lucky ones because we feel more and experience more in life then the siblings that get all the attention. I am the black sheep and it makes me different which i like.

i been the black sheep for a long time. but my mom and dad loved me . and i turned out to be the best out of 6 brothers and 4 sisters. now that's cool
