Because it leeches the minerals out of your teeth. The same thing will happen with real cranberry juice - don't do that. In fact, I have just been warned off lemon entirely because they have created too acidic an environment in my body and have cause me a lot of pain and discomfort, so I say, easy on the lemon juice.
