Peeing in your bed as in marking its territory? is this a male? female? If its male, it could be marking his territory.. females are known to do that too.. establishing alpha dominance in your house.. are there other pets? It may also be a urinary tract infection.

Maybe because he/she is still a puppy. My dog sleeps in the bed, and when I wake up and leave the room I always wake her up and take her to use the restroom since she's done that before when I left her alone in there. When I caught her doing it once, I put her in her crate for the night. It would probably also be a good idea to take him outside before he gets into the bed. Hope that helps.

Why is the animal in your bed in the first place?
The pet belongs in its own bed.

I don't mean to sound harsh, I am only concerned with what a pet can drag into your bed. Think about fleas, poop on paws, dirty hinder and the likes.

I have always had pets and have always loved them, however, I draw the line about who is allowed to crawl into my husband's and my bed, who eats at the table (off the table), and who gets kissed on the mouth.

Does that answer any questions?

My cat used to do that too until I caught him in the act one day. I calmly picked him up and set him on the floor, and said in a stern, even voice "NO Peeing on the bed is BAD!"

Then I pissed on it.

I would recommend talking to your vet about this to check for things such as UTI as another poster suggested or a kidney infection.
