We just purchased a Canon ZR850 Mini DV Camcorder, does anyone own one, or something similar from the canon family? I couldn't find any helpful reviews!

Yes, I own a MV750i, a model from a couple of years ago. It was well reviewed at the time. But, why bother about what reviews say when you have brought your equipment? Just use it. If you are happy with it, why bother what someone else thinks?

Well if you got it new you got a longer warranty than most others offer. Canon generally offered a 1 year warranty parts and labor.
It may also have ins and outs.
