Ignorance is Bliss:

Basically....What you don't know won't hurt you. For example, She decided not to read the critics' reviews--ignorance is bliss. The idea has been expressed since ancient times, in one form or another.
The actual saying, however, comes from Thomas Gray's poem, "Ode on a Distant Prospect of Eton College" (1742): "Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise."

And because you're unaware or uninformed, you don't know what you're missing.

The quote is "Ignorance is bliss" and it means that if you don't know about or have the understanding to see the bad or evil in something that you are happier than if you do see it. For example, you are promoted at work. You find out that a qualified peer was fired unfairly so that you could have the job because you are a favorite of someone important. You would probably be a lot happier not knowing about what happened that you are after finding out.

If you don't know anything about the world in front of you, about life then your good. But once you find out that Santa clause was just your parents jingling the house keys, that not every person you meet is going to like you, that your best friends can be your worst enemies, your innocence is lost and life has just taken a huge chunk out of your a**. and shoved u into this dark and somewhat pleasant stage in life we call adulthood, where ignorance is still lurking but bliss is just around the corner if you look hard enough.
