Peroxide will damage your hair. Rubbing alcohol will do nothing. Spend a few bucks and see a stylist. It you can't afford it, try lemon juice....

Peroxide, lemon juice, and alcohol will all change your hair color but they do horrid damage while they change it. In most people they also bring out the red in the hair(everyone has some) and end up making your hair a very nasty orange color. If you are hoping to make your hair blonde in a natural way then you have to go stand in the sun until it changes on it's own because adding anything to dark hair to get it to go blonde is damaging. Not to mention that blonde hair is the most likely to break and to fall out(who says blondes have more fun?)

no but it would def dry your hair. Do not put alcohol in your hair. If you want to lighten it up then use peroxide that would do it. But then again it's so bad for your hair and could damage it.

Jet black hair. I have really dark brown hair and I consider dark hair looks better. I don't really like blonde hair.

No, alcohol doesnt ut just makes your hair REALLy dry and unmanagable so DONT DO IT. Peroxide does however highlight your hair if you apply heat (blow dryer or sun). However PLEASE dont do it because your hair will suffer. It will get dry, frizzy, and you will get split ends like you wont believe. Trust me

lemon juice is a natural bleacher. It helpes to bring out natural highlights.
I have also heard that beer works but i havent tried it.

if you have blonde hair that will naturally get bleached by the actual sun in the summer. There has been this guy in my class who had golden blonde hair that had been a medium brown near the bottom part. When he came back to school after summer vacation, it was nearly platinum blonde!

rubbing alcohol and peroxide are very drying and damaging to your hair...... i wouldn't tempt it, and household bleach will badly fry it. beer will NOT lighten it
