I had very minor acne in high school, but it flared up most often when I was under stress. My grandmother told me that it was because I touched my face too much (it sounds absurd, but people rub their faces all the time). Supposedly, it was all the dirt and oils on my hands causing the problem. So, I started making a conscious effort not to put my hands on my face. I also made a point of washing my hands often, especially after eating. That solved it for me.

If your referring to a major outbreak, then it may be something more to do with your genetic make up than my suggestion. In which case, you should probably see a dermatologist.

Hi, I am a dermatologist by profession and within a careeer of 10 years I have seen lots of acnee problems. According to me Red and white pimpless are the worst and painful. Acneprone skin is very sensitive, even if you touch it once the redness will increase with itching. According to me there is no magical way to heal your pimmples over night as this is the puffed part of your skin due to the bacteria. In simple words try to improve your diet and have lots of water that helps in healingg process. Un-necessary oily food should be avoided to get a healthy spotless skin.

I can only think of natural "cure". Exercise really improves your skin (more so the cardio exercises).

And vitamins with antioxidants (breakouts may come also from fatty foods, avoid them and prefer steamed vegetables, fish and meat).

DO NOT smoke or refrain from smoking.
