can i get a refund on a car stereo after it has been fitted if i change my mind and dont like it?

at halfords, we used to have to in that situation as much as we argued on the floor, the manager always gave in. i hated customers like that, coz how do you resell the radio that has already been fitted? we used to save the ones we took out for customers that were kn*bheads with us

no refunds on electronics unless they are faulty, but If you know someone who works there you might get a little sneak in. Just take it out and sell it. Believe me someone will buy it.

Nope. You're only covered under the Sale of Goods Act which states that you can only return something if it is "not of merchantable quality."

i.e., if it doesn't work or something falls of it due to poor manufacture.

Nothing in there for 'changing your mind'...

Bit late know to change your mind innit?Only thing left now is,remove it,sell it,suffer the losses.Could be quite an expensive radio for you.

Most likely not unless they misled you about the stereo. Or if you've spent enough money with them and are upgrading.
